Bajaber, who joined Police FC from Nairobi City Stars during the mid-season transfer window, has been suspended for accumulating five yellow cards. Police FC, currently leading the standings on goal difference ahead of Tusker FC, will be aiming to return to winning ways after their surprising 1-0 defeat to Mathare United on February 20, which ended their 13-match unbeaten run. A victory against AFC Leopards would give them a three-point cushion at the top of the table.
Meanwhile, AFC Leopards come into the match in fine form, having gone unbeaten in their last six matches. The last time these two teams met, AFC Leopards secured a 1-0 victory, handing Kenya Police head coach Etienne Ndayiragije a loss in his debut match in charge. However, Ndayiragije quickly turned things around, leading the team from the bottom of the table to the summit with an impressive unbeaten run.
