Kenya Police FC will be without their in-form attacking midfielder Mohamed Ali Bajaber when they take on AFC Leopards in an FKF Premier League showdown at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos on Tuesday. The match, set to kick off at 4 PM, will be broadcast live on Azam Sports 3 HD.

Bajaber, who joined Police FC from Nairobi City Stars during the mid-season transfer window, has been suspended for accumulating five yellow cards. His absence is a blow for the table-toppers, as he has already scored three goals in three matches—one in the league and a brace in the FKF Mozzart Bet Cup.

Police FC, currently leading the standings on goal difference ahead of Tusker FC, will be aiming to return to winning ways after their surprising 1-0 defeat to Mathare United on February 20, which ended their 13-match unbeaten run. A victory against AFC Leopards would give them a three-point cushion at the top of the table.

Meanwhile, AFC Leopards come into the match in fine form, having gone unbeaten in their last six matches. They have suffered only one defeat in their last 12 outings and are currently fifth in the standings. Ingwe will be keen to close the gap on the top teams as they continue their quest for a first league title since 1998.

The last time these two teams met, AFC Leopards secured a 1-0 victory, handing Kenya Police head coach Etienne Ndayiragije a loss in his debut match in charge. However, Ndayiragije quickly turned things around, leading the team from the bottom of the table to the summit with an impressive unbeaten run.

With revenge on their minds, Police FC will be determined to claim all three points, while AFC Leopards will be looking to maintain their strong form and climb further up the table.
